Copy/paste it from where you extracted it, usually into (depending on install) Disc: C:\Program files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The sims 3\GameData\Shared\NonPackaged\Worlds. If that's not the issue, try installing the store content into a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 3 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, open the launcher to spawn a new folder, download only one item from the store, install it, and see if it shows up. Download Frameworks.rar and extract it with Winrar. Place that folder in C:\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3. Open the folder Packages and put your downloaded store-packages in there. The folder Packages contains already 2 files, no-intro.package and nobuildsparkles. When you now start your game you no longer have the intro-video (faster Re-Install the store content from your launcher. Start with the bigger ones like worlds and venues one at the time. Smaller items like furniture, clothes and hair can be installed 4-5 at the time. Go to the Sims 3 folder you renamed and copy the Saves, Library and Mods folder (if you have one) to the new Sims 3 folder. Then, if you need to reinstall a piece of store content, just copy the appropriate .sims3pack file into the downloads folder and install from the launcher. No don’t shut down. Yes the lot files go into: (\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Library) and will be found in the in-game library under community lots via Edit Town. I want the store content, but I don't feel like giving EA more of my money. They've been given a lot over the years. I've heard of people downloading them from some other places, but I can't remember where. If it's still available please let me know, I will be forever grateful.
