My 07 328xi is having some issues. My engine is overheating and I have no heat inside the car. I***8217;d let the car run for 10 minutes and no heat inside. However if I drive for 30 seconds my engine will overheat and I***8217;ll get a light on my dash. I can probably make it 100 feet before it happens again. The heat for the air comes off your coolant running through the heater core in the dash. So you won't have any heat until the engine warms up, but if your cars not overheating and the cooling system is working fine then it sounds like its an electrical problem kinda like what the dealership is saying. In hotter weather, the E90 electric fan will blow faster and be noisier. Totally normal. johnf. 2917 posts 路 Joined 2003. #3 路 Sep 13, 2014. If a good bulb doesn't light and the socket isn't corroded, check the trunk to trunk lid wiring where it bends most sharply approaching the trunk lid. You can slide down the black sheath to inspect the wiring. The wires have too small of a bending radius, and eventually crack and break Quote: Originally Posted by JohnnyRoaster. Previously the SES light was on, I took it to the shop who did a smoke test (no leaks), and then figured it was the MAF sensor which was replaced. I was told to drive 35 miles and go for the smog
I read this information on the BMW site as well as my personal experiences. 1) It will not work if you are in M mode. 2) The engine HAS to be at operating temperature. 3) If the climate control is on auto and the cabin is not at the desired temp (set by the controls) (heat/AC) the start/stop will NOT activate.

If so, failures are usually caused by water getting into the driver side door handle and frying the module. Usually you'd have to replace the door handle and the Passive Go module. Search for "passive go comfort access" and you'll

On vehicles from E-series E53, E60, E61, E63, E64, E65, E66, E67, E70 and E83, a slight tapping noise may be heard when the residual heat function is active. This is caused by the control mechanism for the hot water feed (water valve) to

Access to the battery is fairly easy. To your question yes, It can be coded out if it's the seat mat sensor but you have to disconnect the sensor There is an install kit available for LHD vehicles, BMW p/n 64502359944. However, I don鈥檛 know if that comes with the actual webasto heater though, or if I would need to get that separately. Unfortunately there is no BMW part listed to retrofit independent heating to a RHD car. NOTE 2: On Windows & Linux, the "F3" hotkey will jump to the next find; "shift F3" will reverse the find; "enter" will open the current link. Searching for "heater core" came up red; but searching for "heater": - Heater Valve replace (Hot air only) DIY. - Heater control valve replacement. - Heater hot water valve repair. YgaB.
